Our Mission

Showcasing the World’s Best Food, Wonders & Hidden Gems

Our goal is simple: travel the world and showcase all of the unique sites, wonders, and β€” of course β€” the foods you absolutely have to try in every destination. From ancient forts in Rajasthan to street carts in New Delhi to hidden dim sum parlors in Manhattan, we go where the flavor leads.

We created this channel to show our subscribers the best places to eat, what to watch out for, and the best ways to get around when you’re traveling with an army of children. Because yes β€” family travel is possible, it’s incredible, and we’re living proof.

This isn’t a review channel. We’re experience guides. Every video is built to make you feel like you’re right there with us β€” discovering something new, tasting something unforgettable, and planning your next adventure.

🎯 What We Do

What DineTheMap Is All About

Every video we make is built around three things β€” and we never compromise on any of them.

🍽️

The Best Food Everywhere

We seek out the most unique, most authentic, most unforgettable food experiences in every city we visit. No chains, no obvious tourist traps β€” just the real stuff locals actually eat. We tell you exactly what to order, what’s worth the hype, and what to skip.

🌍

Unique Sites & Wonders

We don’t just eat β€” we explore. From ancient forts and hidden temples to towering skylines and waterfront sunsets, we take you to the places that make a destination unforgettable. History, culture, architecture β€” all of it told through the lens of real discovery.

πŸ‘¨β€πŸ‘©β€πŸ‘§β€πŸ‘¦

Real Family Travel

We travel with 4 kids β€” ages ranging from toddler to tween. That means we know exactly what works and what doesn’t. We give you honest, practical guidance on navigating the world with children, from safety and accessibility to kid-friendly food and family logistics.

πŸ“– Our Story

How We Got Here

From digital nomads to a family YouTube channel with 41K+ subscribers β€” here’s how DineTheMap came to life.

1

We Became Digital Nomads

Nate and Leah made the decision early in their marriage to not be tied down to one place. They began living and working remotely across multiple countries, building a life designed around experience rather than routine.

2

Four Kids and Still Traveling

Most people said it couldn’t be done β€” that having kids meant staying home. We proved them wrong. With each child, we found better ways to travel, smarter strategies for navigating the world as a family, and an even deeper appreciation for what the world has to offer.

3

DineTheMap Was Born

We launched the channel to share everything we had learned β€” and everything we were still discovering. Best places to eat, hidden experiences, family travel hacks, and honest reactions to food from around the world. 140+ videos later, the mission hasn’t changed: find the flavor, follow the map.

4

41K+ Subscribers & Growing

Our community has grown to over 41,000 subscribers who tune in to experience the world alongside our family. From India to New York City to Las Vegas β€” we’re just getting started, and we want you with us every step of the way.

πŸ§’ For Families

What We’ve Learned Traveling with an Army of Kids

We’ve made every mistake so you don’t have to. Here’s what actually works when you’re exploring the world with children.

🍜

Feed Them Adventurously Early

The earlier you introduce kids to different cuisines, the more flexible they become. Our kids eat street food across Asia and love it. Start early, make it an adventure, and they’ll surprise you.

πŸ—ΊοΈ

Plan for Flexibility, Not Perfection

With kids, something always goes sideways. Build buffer time into every itinerary, always know the nearest bathroom, and pick accommodations in central locations so you can retreat quickly if you need to.

πŸŽ’

Pack Half of What You Think You Need

Overpacking is the #1 mistake family travelers make. You will buy things locally. Kids don’t need as much as you think. A carry-on per person is always the goal β€” it forces you to stay agile.

πŸ“

Research Kid-Friendly Food First

Before every destination, we scout 3–4 go-to spots where we know the kids can eat well. Having that safety net means the adults can be more adventurous everywhere else without the stress of a hangry kid meltdown.

πŸ›‘οΈ

Safety Over Everything β€” Always

We vet every destination for family safety before we book. We check water quality, food handling standards, travel advisories, and local customs. The adventure should be exciting, not reckless.

🎬

Make the Kids Part of the Story

Our kids’ genuine reactions are often the best moments in our videos. Involve them in everything β€” the food orders, the exploration, the opinions. They see the world with fresh eyes that remind all of us why we travel.
